In 2008 we were given the money to purchase 3,000m2 of land where our dream is for a purpose built home for up to 60 children, to increase our capacity for self sustainability, to improve our ability to deliver relevant and meaningful training, and to reach out further into the local community.
Following fundraising from a group in Australia we have completed our boundary wall and are now working towards commencing work on the main structures.

We have split the project into a number of different phases. These are detailed below and progress on each is indicated to the right.
All plans, construction drawings and 3D renders for this project have been kindly donated from Habitat5 Architects.
Aquaponics
MTC in Coff's Harbour, Australia, has kindly donated the funding to build an Aquaponics system. This is the cultivation of vegetables and fish in a circulating system, the produce of which can be used to feed the children's home and also sold to local resorts.

Phase 1 - Children's Home
This phase provides 32 beds along with temporary kitchen and dining facilities, which will allow us to move all our existing children and staff to the new site.

Phase 2 - Children's Home
A mirror image of phase 1, this phase will provide us with an additional 32 beds, allowing us to re-start the street kids project and open the doors again to those in need.

Phase 3 - Children's Home
This phase completes the new children's home with permanent kitchen and dining facilities, offices and private staff accommodation.

Phase 4 - Training Facilities
Education and training facilities, this will sit above the Aquaponics system and enable us to expand our current training workshop programme.

Phase 5 - Community Centre
This will enable us to open up the training workshops to the local community, offer additional training with micro-finance schemes and host community events.
